Reasonable Expectations for GBI Graduates

If Grizzly Bible Institute is effective, the student should…

1.       Possess an accurate portrait of the magnificent vistas of the glorious perfections of the Triune God (Father, Son, and Holy Spirit) as revealed in the once and for all revealed Word of God.

2.       Cultivate a refreshing Christ-entranced worldview that relates everything to the glory of Christ as the Sun by which all the planets (thoughts, passions, and actions) of their lives revolve.

3.       Keep the cross of Jesus as the blazing center of the glory of God by boasting exclusively in it as the only means for the purchase of all their undeserved blessings, both eternal and temporal.

4.       Maintain these two inseparable principles: a true Biblical knowledge must lead to a true delight in God, and a true delight in God must be shaped and sustained by a true Biblical knowledge.

5.       Pursue the satisfying design of God in being a man or a woman in all the spheres of life in spite of the fierce cultural tide to thwart God’s purposes for true masculinity and femininity.

6.       Recognize, based upon the Scriptural mandate and their experience at GBI, the immense need for genuine discipleship within the Christian community by investing their lives into thirsty believers.

7.       Be committed to authentic & consistent fellowship with Christians, who treasure Jesus above all things, as a means of their perseverance in the lifelong fight against the deceitfulness of sin.

8.       Discern the subtle difference between committing idolatry and reveling in the beautiful handiwork of the Creator when viewing and enjoying the uniqueness and diversity of God’s Creation.

9.       Make frequent visits to the past giants (theologians, preachers, missionaries) in the Christian Faith in order to sweeten the spiritual taste buds with the unique Godward flavor of the old paths.

10.     Be eager to be an active goer or an active sender in the advancement of the triumphant Gospel to all peoples, regardless of the sacrifice, for the ultimate glory of Jesus Christ.
